“This is simply a reflection of the wonderful teamwork at Miles & Stockbridge and the contributions so many make to our considerable success each and every day,” said Frisch when he learned of the award.

Frisch joins an impressive group of 32 honorees who were selected for their leadership and vision; competitiveness and innovation; community leadership and service; financial performance and growth; corporate leadership and board service; and nonprofit involvement.

Frisch joined Miles & Stockbridge in 1983 and has served as the law firm’s chairman and chief executive officer since 2003. He is chairman of Visit Baltimore, a director of the Downtown Partnership for which he previously served as chairman, and a director of the Greater Baltimore Committee. A graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, Frisch serves on its Board of Visitors and the steering committee for the law school’s Leadership, Ethics and Democracy Building Project. Frisch also is a past director of the Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore, B&O Railroad Museum, and Well for the Journey. He is a graduate of the Greater Baltimore Committee’s Leadership Program and Leadership Maryland.

“The Most Admired CEOs set the example for others to follow,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. “Their commitment to their businesses, employees and communities is exemplary. The Daily Record is pleased to honor them.”

A panel of business and legal professionals, including one representative from The Daily Record,  selected the winners after reviewing nominations, honoree applications, letters of recommendation from staff members and at least one letter from a nonprofit or board on which the CEO serves.

CEOs will be honored on September 17 at a dinner at the BWI Hilton in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. Winners also will be profiled the following day in a special magazine inserted in The Daily Record and available online.
