Laura Golden Liff Honored by Virginia Bar Association

Laura Golden Liff, an associate in the Tysons Corner office of Miles & Stockbridge, was honored by The Virginia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division during its Annual Meeting in January. Liff received the Emerson G. Spies Award in recognition of her superior service, enthusiasm, loyalty and dedication to the Virginia Bar Association in 2015.

Liff spearheaded the Virginia Bar Association’s membership initiatives in Northern Virginia by organizing impactful events and worked with their Pro Bono Council on statewide pro bono projects aimed as closing the justice gap in Virginia.

Liff has been a member of the Young Lawyers Division since 2011 and currently serves on its Executive Committee. She is a commercial and business litigation attorney with substantial experience representing business clients before state and federal courts in Virginia and Washington, D.C.

At the same meeting, Liff presented with Virginia Supreme Court Justice Jane Marum Roush and Fairfax County Circuit Court Judge Daniel E. Ortiz on the impact of pro bono work.
