Anne-Herbert Rollins Undertakes New Community Leadership Posts in Frederick
Anne-Herbert Rollins, a Frederick resident and a lawyer in the Frederick office of Miles & Stockbridge, has undertaken two new community leadership positions: as chair of the Signature Gifts Committee for the Development Council of Frederick Memorial Hospital and as a member of the Board of Associates for Hood College.
Frederick Memorial Hospital
Rollins’ appointment as a Development Council committee chair continues her involvement with Frederick Memorial Hospital after a decade of board service, including as chairman and vice chairman. She also formerly served as chairman of the board for the Frederick Regional Health System.
Rollins also was elected to Hood College’s Board of Associates, a diverse group of alumnae and alumni, parents, friends and business leaders who are ambassadors of the College.
Other Professional & Community Service
Among her other leadership roles in Frederick, Rollins has been a trustee of the YMCA of Frederick County since 2002, following eight years as a director for the organization. She recently completed a term as president of the Rotary Club of Frederick.
Rollins has been honored several times for her accomplishments as a lawyer and her service to the legal profession. In 2013, The Daily Record recognized her with its Leadership in Law award. The Bar Association of Frederick County presented her with the James McSherry Memorial Award in 2008 for outstanding service to the bar and with the W. Jerome Offutt Award in 2007, which recognizes a local lawyer for the advancement of professionalism and civility in the practice of law.
