Zachary Schultz is an associate in our Corporate and Securities Practice Group in Baltimore, where he has a diverse general corporate law practice, including corporate governance matters, mergers and acquisitions, equity and asset sales, and drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Zach also represents public and private companies and real estate investment trusts in connection with corporate governance issues related to Maryland general corporate law and Maryland REIT law.
Before joining the corporate and securities practice group, Zach was a business and commercial litigator with Miles & Stockbridge, where he focused on corporate governance disputes and securities litigation, as well as general commercial and business disputes. Zachary also has experience in the consumer financial services space. Zach leverages his past litigation experience to add value to his corporate and transactional clients.
Before joining Miles & Stockbridge, Zach was an associate with Gordon Feinblatt LLC. He served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Stuart R. Berger of the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland from 2013 to 2014.
While a student at the University of Maryland School of Law, Zach was the Notes and Comments Editor of the Maryland Law Review and the Case Alerts Editor for the American Bar Association’s Media Alerts Project on Federal Courts of Appeals (Fourth Circuit). Zach was also a judicial intern for the Honorable Richard D. Bennett of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
