Robert Zinkham

Robert Zinkham

A principal in our Corporate & Securities Practice Group, Robert Zinkham has focused exclusively on practicing health care law for more than 25 years. He develops and organizes business relationships between hospitals and physicians, representing both large hospital systems and physician groups. Rob has extensive regulatory experience with federal and state government investigations of healthcare entities.  He also represents significant commercial health insurers.

His significant matters include engineering joint ventures and the purchase and sale of numerous healthcare entities, involving hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, ambulatory surgery centers and physician groups. He also has led the corporate reorganization of a multibillion-dollar health insurance company.

He was formerly a partner at Venable LLP, where he led the health care practice. Rob has been a board member for The Maryland Zoo at Baltimore since 2004 and formerly served on and chaired the board for the Johns Hopkins Psychiatric Day Hospital.
