Peter P. Parvis represents hospitals, institutional providers, suppliers and other health care organizations and physicians on corporate and health care regulatory matters. Peter strategizes with his clients on how to best navigate the evolving health care environment and avoid potential penalties. In his extensive and notable career, Peter has represented pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, hospitals, a national pharmacy and optical chain, pharmaceutical companies, institutional providers, physicians, the Maryland Hospital Association and insurance companies. For more than twenty years, Peter has been named one of the Best Lawyers in America for health care. In addition, he has been listed in the Chambers USA since 2006, named on Maryland Super Lawyers since 2009, and in the 2011 edition of Legal 500, Healthcare and Life Sciences.

Peter has published extensively and has been a frequent speaker before trade groups, hospital associations, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and physicians, on such topics as compliance, fraud and abuse and Stark limitations, HIPAA, PPACA, electronic health records, and latest trends in health care reform. Before joining Miles & Stockbridge, Peter was a partner at Venable LLP.
