Kendra Merchant is a tax associate in our Corporate and Securities Practice Group. She advises clients on a variety of federal and state tax issues in the areas of corporate, partnership, international, and individual income tax.
Before joining Miles & Stockbridge, she was a tax associate with a Washington, D.C. metro area law firm. Previously, she served as a legal intern with the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. She also served as a student law clerk to the Honorable Jerry A. Brown with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Kendra received her JD from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she earned certificates in taxation and international law and was a board member of the Tax Law Society. She also holds a master of laws in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
