Kelly Lynch is associate counsel in our Commercial and Business Litigation Practice Group in Frederick.
Most recently, Kelly worked as an associate with Godwin, Erlandson, Vernon & Daney, LLC in Ellicott City, MD, where she focused on workers’ compensation and liability cases.
Kelly served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable G. Edward Dwyer, Jr., Administrative Judge of the Circuit Court for Frederick County. She also previously worked for the State’s Attorney’s Office in Frederick as a law clerk and for the State’s Attorney’s Office in Baltimore as a law intern in the homicide division.
She is a 2014 honors graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she was president of the Criminal Law Association and a member of the Maryland Public Interest Law Project. As a Rule 16 student attorney for the University of Maryland School of Law Clinical Law Program, she represented juvenile clients through the Office of the Public Defender in Baltimore and represented low income LGBT clients through FreeState Legal Project.
Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree magna cum laude in 2011 from James Madison University, where she was an Honors Scholar and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
