Joshua J. Gayfield

Josh Gayfield represents businesses and individuals in a broad array of litigation matters, including complex contract disputes, business torts, intellectual property, trade secret misappropriation, professional negligence/malpractice, manufacturing defects, actions for emergency injunctive relief, and commercial landlord-tenant disputes. In addition, Josh litigates claims brought under the Uniform Commercial Code, including cases involving sale of goods, breach of warranties, negotiable instruments, and related claims.

Josh represents clients in a variety of forums, including Maryland's state, federal, and appellate courts, state administrative proceedings, and arbitration panels in multiple jurisdictions. He has tried numerous cases to verdict and also has secured a number of appellate victories for his clients. His substantial litigation experience, coupled with a pragmatic approach, helps him find efficient solutions to the complex problems faced by clients across a range of industries.

Prior to law school, Josh had a notable career in the United States Marine Corps and was recognized with numerous awards for his accomplishments.
