Christopher S. Denny is an associate in our Corporate, Securities & Tax Practice in Rockville. As part of our Government Contracts group, his practice includes representing clients who do business with government entities at the federal, state and local levels.
Chris worked most recently as corporate counsel for Clark Construction Group in Bethesda, Maryland, where he provided counsel on federal and state regulations including the FAR, DFAR, GSAAR, Davis-Bacon and Buy America Acts. He also drafted and reviewed a wide array of commercial agreements, including construction contracts; leases; subordination, non-disturbance, and attornment agreements; non-disclosure agreements; and license agreements.
In 2013, he earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he was a title editor for the law review. During law school, Chris served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Robert Young Jr. of the Michigan Supreme Court. He earned a B.A. in finance from Michigan State University in East Lansing in 2008.
