Buddy A. Meyer

Buddy A. Meyer represents public and private clients in corporate transactions and general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions and a variety of financing transactions, including both debt and equity financings.  Before joining Miles & Stockbridge, Buddy was an associate in the Atlanta office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP where he represented banks, financial institutions, and commercial borrowers in a variety of financial transactions, including secured and unsecured senior credit facilities, asset-based loans, investment grade financings, domestic and cross-border syndicated loans, and acquisition finance.  After law school, he worked with Paul Hastings LLP representing public and private businesses in a variety of corporate transactions with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.

Buddy received his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida in 2010 and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2008 where he was a Chancellor’s Scholar and Associate Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law.  In addition, he was the recipient of the Vanderbilt Scholastic Excellence Award in both Securities Regulation and Mergers and Acquisitions.  Buddy graduated from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University, with highest distinction, in 2005 where he was an Emory Scholar and recipient of the 2005 Todd Whitman Outstanding BBA Achievement Award.
