When women speak out at work, it not only empowers the speaker but can also make a difference for other women and affect change throughout the entire office.

That was one of the key takeaways from the panelists at the Baltimore Business Journal's Enterprising Women event, which took place Friday morning at Martin's West. More than 300 people attended the event, featuring networking, breakfast and a panel discussion led by BBJ Editor-in-Chief Joanna Sullivan about women in the workplace.
