Kristen Siracusa Selected by National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges for Next Generation Program

Siracusa, an associate in Miles & Stockbridge’s Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy practice, has been selected by the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges (NCBJ) for its Next Generation program, held during the annual conference in San Francisco on October 26-29. The program provides 40 up-and-coming bankruptcy attorneys with five to ten years of experience an opportunity to connect with bankruptcy judges and other bankruptcy professionals through various networking events and professional development sessions. This is the sixth year for the program.

About Kristen Siracusa

Siracusa represents diverse clients (lenders, commercial lessors, creditor committees, trustees, and other creditors) in all aspects of bankruptcy cases, including cash collateral use, debtor-in-possession financing, dischargeability litigation, claims objections, executory contract and lease disputes, asset sales, automatic stay litigation and avoidance actions.

Additionally, she represents and advises secured lenders in formulating and executing workout strategies outside of bankruptcy. She also represents secured and unsecured creditors in commercial collections matters, and advises clients regarding distressed real estate, receiverships and commercial foreclosures.

She in an active and committed member of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA). A board member of IWIRC’s Greater Maryland Network, she co-chairs the communications committee and helps plan member events and other industry events in the region. She also serves on the board of the Chesapeake Chapter of TMA, chairing the NextGen group.
