With more than 30,000 active members nationwide, the American Inns of Court is an association of lawyers, judges, and other legal professionals from all levels and backgrounds who share a passion for professional excellence. Misken is an executive board member of the Walter Chandler Inn of Court, which is designed to improve the skills, professionalism, and ethics of the bankruptcy bench and bar in the District of Columbia metro area.

As a principal in the Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Practice Group, Misken represents corporate debtors and creditors’ committees in reorganization proceedings under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code and also represents other creditors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 proceedings. He also has extensive experience in bankruptcy litigation and commercial litigation.
