Ed Bodensiek Joins Miles & Stockbridge in Newly Created Chief Client Experience Officer Role
Miles & Stockbridge announced today that Edwin “Ed” Bodensiek has joined the law firm in the newly created role of chief client experience officer. Bodensiek will lead Miles & Stockbridge’s efforts to define, build and roll-out a distinctive client experience for the firm’s clients.
“Ed offers deep experience in creating thoughtful customer and client experiences, and we are thrilled to have him driving these efforts for our clients,” said John B. Frisch, chairman and CEO of Miles & Stockbridge. “Developing this new model will be a long-term project involving our entire firm and all aspects our client relationships.”
During the last five years, Bodensiek helped co-design and lead The Select Medical Way, an experience program for Select Medical, a publicly traded $4 billion health care company operating in 44 states. The program focused on culture and organizational development and consistent communications and service standards as part of a dual focus on delivering exceptional patient and employee experience.
“The definition of quality is expanding,” said Bodensiek. “Beyond our lawyers’ exceptional capabilities, the most sophisticated way to stand out—to truly serve our law firm’s clients—will be to further develop a consistently great experience,” said Bodensiek.
Bodensiek began his experience program design work for Select Medical as part of an expanded role as vice president of communications and branding. Before that, he worked as director of outreach and public relations for the U.S. Fulbright Program, a program of the U.S. State Department, and as director of outreach for the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where he helped establish the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy. He also served as senior associate director of communications for The Johns Hopkins University at the medical campus in East Baltimore.
