Justin C. Eller

Justin C. Eller is a principal in the firm’s Baltimore office. He advises and represents management in all areas of employment law.

Justin defends employers throughout the country in cases involving claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, unpaid overtime, wrongful discharge, and other employment-related claims. He has substantial experience in all aspects of civil litigation and administrative proceedings, and regularly defends clients in federal and state courts and before the EEOC, the Department of Labor, and other federal, state and local agencies. Justin also represents employers in matters before the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and has successfully defended cases involving workplace fatalities, indoor air quality complaints, ergonomics complaints, and numerous other issues.  

In addition to his litigation experience, Justin advises employers on a variety of employment-related matters, including recruitment and hiring, diversity and inclusion, employee counseling / coaching, leave administration, disability accommodation, reductions-in-force, wage and hour compliance, and FMLA compliance. He has extensive experience drafting employee handbooks, safety and health programs, employment agreements, severance agreements, and non-competition and other restrictive covenant agreements.

Justin regularly conducts investigations involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other unlawful conduct. He also has extensive experience conducting internal compliance audits under the Fair Labor Standards Act and defending clients in cases brought by the Department of Labor.

Justin conducts training for clients on a broad range of issues, including discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, diversity and inclusion, and leave management. He regularly presents at seminars for industry groups throughout the country, including the National Multi-Housing Council, MICPEL, and the Council on Education in Management.

In addition to employment matters, Justin advises and defends clients in matters arising under the Fair Housing Act and Title III of the ADA. Justin is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Fourth, and Seventh Circuits.
