I am a commercial and business litigator and a full time working mother. Miles & Stockbridge is second to none when it comes to walking the walk about supporting working mothers. I began working with Miles after my first year of law school as a 2002 summer associate, and returned after my second year in law school in the summer 2003, pregnant with my first daughter. I had my second daughter three months after I started as a full time lawyer in the fall of 2004. My third daughter was born in 2007. Miles has followed through on every promise it made to me as a working mother. The lawyers in my group have given me flexibility in my schedule when I’ve needed or requested it. Equally as important, I continue to receive interesting and challenging work. What’s more, the firm gave me the opportunity to serve as one of the Summer Associate Project Coordinators in 2008 and 2009. I truly enjoy everyone with whom I work. I feel privileged to work with outstanding attorneys who are also wonderful people and I am grateful to have found Miles.
