Working at Miles & Stockbridge provides an opportunity to do great work, and to do it with a great team of lawyers. Having started my career working at a big New York law firm (and unfortunately buying in to the attitude that the practice of law elsewhere would be second-rate), I was and continue to be greatly impressed by the quality of the lawyers at this firm. The lawyers here have mastered the "art" of lawyering in a way that "big firm" lawyers haven't, and I feel lucky to have been able to learn from them. To me, though, what truly sets Miles & Stockbridge apart is the level of trust I have in the firm - both personally and professionally. As a mother of two young children who struggles with balancing work and home life, I know my colleagues will step in to help me when crisis strikes. I know that others will judge me by the quality of my work rather than the number of hours they see me sitting at my desk. And I know how lucky I am to have found that.
