Miles & Stockbridge's focus on client service is reinforced through Miles University, our in-house education program that provides general and practice-specific instruction.  

Litigation-specific offerings include courses in legal research and brief writing, propounding and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions and effective oral advocacy. Business-specific offerings include workshops on contract drafting, licensing agreements, letters of intent, the basics of taxable acquisitions, the representation of start-up companies, and updates on the latest federal and state laws. The firm maintains a library of these education materials. We also encourage associates to attend practice-specific continuing legal education seminars.
