Your Work

The substantive work we assign to our summer associates is “real work” that otherwise would have been assigned to a first or second year associate.

Here’s how the work is assigned:

Summer associates should anticipate spending approximately one-half of their summer working in the Litigation Department and the remaining time working in the Business Department. The firm designates an associate from each Department to serve as a project coordinator who assigns work to summer associates and monitors workloads to ensure that each summer associate is carrying a sufficient and diverse workload without being overwhelmed. Project coordinators also provide constructive feedback on selected written work.  We encourage summer associates to request projects in areas of law that interest them in an effort to make the summer program as valuable an experience as possible.
